pywasp.add_met_fields(wco, fields='emergent', air_density=None)[source]#

Add post-processed meteorological fields to a wind climate.

Warning

This function is experimental and its signature may change.

Parameters:

wco (xarray.Dataset) – Weibull or binned wind climate dataset.
fields ({"all", "emergent", "combined", "sector"}, optional) – Field group to add.
air_density (xarray.DataArray or float, optional) – Air density values with dimensions compatible with wco. If omitted, existing air_density values are used when present; otherwise they are calculated for wco. A scalar is broadcast to wco.

Returns:

xarray.Dataset – Wind climate dataset with the requested additional fields.
