pywasp.download_mesoclimate(server='zenodo', dl_all=False)

Download the global mesoclimate files PyWAsP needs, without prompting.

The explicit way to fetch the files, e.g. when preparing a container image or an offline machine; the pywasp mesoclimate download command calls this. The [download] configuration is not consulted: calling this function is the consent.

Parameters:

• server (str, optional) – “zenodo” (default) or “dtudata”.

• dl_all (bool, optional) – Re-download all files, not only the missing ones. Default False.

Returns:

pathlib.Path – The directory holding the files.

Raises:

• MesoclimateMissingError – If there is no internet connection or a download fails.

• PywaspError – If server is not “zenodo” or “dtudata”.
