windkit.weibull_fit(bwc, include_met_fields=None, atol=1e-08)[source]#

Returns sectorwise Weibull parameters using WAsP’s fitting algorithm.

Parameters:

bwc (xarray.Dataset) – Binned wind climate xr.Dataset object
include_met_fields (bool) – Whether to include met fields in the output. Defaults to False.
atol (float) – Absolute tolerance for the weibull-fitting algorithm, applied to 3 / k. Defaults to 1e-8.

Returns:

Weibull Wind Climate of same spatial extent as the input bwc. Sectors whose moments cannot be fitted get NaN A and k, see windkit.weibull.fit_weibull_wasp_m1_m3_fgtm().
