windkit.wind_turbines_to_file(wind_turbines, filename, file_format='infer', **kwargs)[source]#

Writes wind turbine locations to a file.

Parameters:

  • wind_turbines (xr.Dataset) – Wind turbines dataset with point spatial structure.

  • filename (str or Path) – Path to the file to write.

  • file_format (str) – File format. If ‘infer’, the format is determined from the file extension. Supported formats: ‘csv’.

  • **kwargs (dict) – Additional arguments passed to the file writer.

Raises:

ValueError – If the file format is not supported.
