windkit.tswc_to_file(tswc, filename, *, file_format='infer', **kwargs)

Write time series wind climate to file.

Parameters:

• tswc (xarray.Dataset) – Time series wind climate dataset.

• filename (str or pathlib.Path) – Path to the file to write the time series wind climate to.

• file_format (str) – The file format of the output file. If ‘infer’, the file format will be inferred from the file extension. Supported formats are ‘yaml’. Defaults to ‘infer’.

• **kwargs (dict) – Additional keyword arguments to pass to the writing function. For windIO YAML files, the ‘level’ argument can be provided here to specify the windIO hierarchy level of the output file: ‘plant’, ‘site’, ‘energy_resource’, or ‘wind_resource’. Defaults to ‘plant’.
