windkit.Workspace.get_wtg#

Workspace.get_wtg(ID=None, regulation_type='pitch')[source]#

Wind turbine generator stored in the workspace.

Parameters:

ID (int, optional) – ID of a wind turbine generator. Defaults to None, which reads the only wind turbine generator in the workspace.
regulation_type (str or None) – One of “stall”, “pitch” or None, used when the turbine does not define its regulation type, as in windkit.read_wtg(). (Default: “pitch”)

Returns:

WTG dataset, the same as windkit.read_wtg() returns for the turbine’s .wtg file.

Return type:

xarray.Dataset

Raises:

ValueError – If the ID does not exist or is not linked to a wind turbine generator, ID is None and the workspace holds no or several wind turbine generators, or the turbine is malformed, as described in windkit.read_wtg().
